attrack grub eating birds?

I had a thought. Last summer I had grubs in my front yard but not in
my back (where the birds hang out). Is there a good way to attrack
birds to the lawn so that they can eat the grubs up? Is this why I
didn't have them in the back?

I know this doesn't help, but I read this subject line wrong......I thought
it said
AttAck grub eating birds!

I was a little relieved to find out there is no monster grubs snatching the
birds and gobbling them up! LOL!

Tammy

Man, that's a big grub! (By the way, you misspelled "attack")

Best regards, ;-)

There for a second I thought you wanted to ATTACK grub eating birds. Birds
of all sorts seem to be most comfortable in gardens that have plenty of
shade, nearby trees to take cover in in an emergency, ready water
resources, & not too many bird-scattering pets or children. They also like
it where gardeners churn soil or them, or turn on sprinklers that bring
insects & worms to the surface of turfs.

I don't know about your grubs but the ones we had many years ago
were around 4"-6" deep. I don't think birds go that deep. Maybe
yours are closer to the surface. I won't mention what I udes to get
rid of them as I was severely flamed for doing it, but it worked!

Oh, it wasn't a spelling flame or anything, it just struck me VERY funny
when all was said and done! If you could have seen what I was
imagining...........great big grubs slipping up behind unsuspecting
birds.....it just made me laugh.

Of course, I like malaprops and the like, too......and I am famous for
blurting out wrong word right context stuff that is far funnier than what I
was trying to say......so it IS the little things that amuse me, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for the smile! Hope you solve your grub problem!

Blessings,
Tammy

Skunks dig up and eat the grubs around here. The lawn heals quickly.
