Default pink bugs on tomatoes

I have noticed that the flowers on a few of my Mortgage Lifter tomatoes are
blooming, dying, and then falling off. Today, I also noticed that a few
plants (one or two of that type and a nearby roma or two) have small pink
bugs hatching on them - maybe 1/8" long mauve colored things that don't move
or anything, but just have a potentially evil look about them. We have
about 40 tomato plants that all have bunches of tomatoes on them and want to
prevent tomato distaster in any way possible. Any ideas on what might be
lurking on the plants or making the spent flowers drop off? (These tomatoes
mean alot to us...)
