Blue princess and Foster Holly

Will a Foster holly pollinate a Blue Princess? The local nursery
recommended the Foster over the Blue Prince because of the lower cost.

Thank You

Blue princess and Foster Holly

Foster Holly is Ilex x attenuata... the 5 Fosteriis are 'interspecific
hybrids between Ilex cassine crossed with
Ilex opaca [Dirr]. The male pollinator of the five Foster clones is simply
called 'Foster #4'.

Blue Princess Holly is Ilex x meserveae, which is a hybrid of Ilex rugosa
and Ilex aquifolium.

Perhaps someone more in the know can tell definitively, but to me it doesn't
seem likely the Foster (presuming you have the male Foster #4) can pollinate
based on this parentage.
