new e-mail address

I have a new e-mail address. First change in EIGHT years. I am having
problems sending this to my friends in my address book. Please, PLEASE don't
get offended if you have received multiple posts tonight. Here is my new
e-mail addy. Let me know if you see this and if you get this. And heck, even
if you want to remain in my address book or if YOURS has changed and you
don't think I have it right..........(I had all sorts of undeliverable
messages.....lots of little buggies to work out.......)
thanks friends

I'll beat she gets lots of spam if she didn't use a spam blocker like I do.

currently I am trying to get Mailwasher to acknowledge the fact that last
night I upgraded to a "Pro" and purchased version of Mailwasher since we
have more than one account, and I keep getting "invalid key" when I try and
paste the register codes. I know I will get spam, but I'm dealing with it
for now....I will change my return address when I get the bugs ironed out.
Thanks for bearing with me on this one. (my life seems to ebb and flow with
problems, but at least there are solutions!) if youse want to be in me
address book, by the way, just give me a personal holler back.
thanks!
madgardener still up on the ridge on a PERFECT fall day...........

After the spam ;} has settled down a bit, for your newsgroup reading, you might
join despammer.com, they do a good job of filtering out any spam sent to you via
your account with them. They don't get 100%, but any you do get via them, you
forward to their abuse desk and it's added to the filters. Best thing is, it's
FREE. Look at my return address to see what I mean.

Never use your REAL address on usenet. Use a phoney address or put
'removethis' in the middle of your real address. You can change that in
your newsreader preferences/settings menu.

Tom, you're about ten years too late informing Maddie. Her bills are
paid and she doesn't keep company with a married man so she doesn't
hold anything back. ;-)

The bots can now remove the "removethis" and other mungs. I just don't use my
real address. Anyone who I want having my email address, has it.

honey, I appreciate yer concern, but there are people out there that know me
quite well and they will confirm that I WILL NOT change my e-mail addy. I
deal with the spam, the flames, the viruses and worms and such and usually
do quite well. I WILL say that by having VIC as my provider, they filter out
viruses and worms for me quite efficiently. Since initiating my e-mail
account with them, they have notified me of deletion of no less than 15 swen
viruses and seven dangerously coded messages sent to me that they got rid of
and didn't even send to me........I'd say that was pretty neat, considering
McAfee doesn't even alert me when these swen things slip thru...........
