Not that anyone with a modicum of education won't already know this,

and I had no idea as I am only high school educated and misinformed to boot.
(if yer talking to me Paggers)

Stinker though you can be, I'd like to continue to believe you're not
intentionally echoing this old whopper because you personally (like most
proponents of this myth) hate Jews & delight in pretending a Jew
orchestrated the holocaust for the benefit of Jews.

I am a stinker sometimes but I'm NOT intentionally echoing the whopper
because I DON'T hate ANYONE (only child molesters and child murderers). I
don't delight or pretend to delight in the myth that Hitler was Jewish. I
was taught that in junior high school and never knew otherwise until you
educated me today. Of which I appreciate and am grateful. Besides, I also
love Zhanataya and she's Jewish!! g More than anything Cereroid has his
drawers in a wad to go after me and make snide remarks about my family tree
and blood on my hands. He's sadly misinformed and could use a hug. Or six.
He sounds neglected. and mean spirited. I've chosen to ignore him by never
responding again to him EVER.

For basics that you
can count on, you might Ian Kershaw's biography of Hitler if you want in
the future to repeat random "actualies" that have some actuality behind
them.

I'd prefer to actually just leave the topic alone and for those that enjoy
such banter. I'd much rather talk about horticulture, fairies, flowers,
music and such GBSEG: thanks for informing me Paggers.

-paghat the jews' kid

well there you go, and you weren't ****ed because I as misinformed now,
were you? someone needs to hand Cereoid a doober to calm him
down...........

I was banished for registering. "Spike" said my Username was to close to a
business name and off to DisneyLand I went. Never knew the business and
have yet to find them!

Maybe they do present some etiquette rule but the crude dude (Spike
Hernandez = Robert Stewart) who runs GW doesn't bother follow them at all.
He runs it like a power crazed despot He's all too willing to arbitrarily
banish anyone for no reason at all without any warning nor explanation.
Any
inquiries get hateful demeaning replies saying he can do anything he

wants.
Somebody should off that mofo.

I did notice that there were some etiquette rules but other than basic
common sense, nothing out of the ordinary. I'm curious and willing to

give
it a shot. I can ALWAYS learn about horticulture! g

Someone runs the boards? I've never noticed anyone being censored or
talking about rules, etc. It's just gardeners posting. Some of the
specialty boards aren't that active, but I've found so much info over

there.

I like that the posts stay up, my news server only holds posts for

maybe
2 weeks. But I've never had a problem with web-based boards,

especially
ones with good search capabilities.

Perhaps the tree fertilizer spikes that you drive into the ground,
also for some plants. Except that's Jobe's tree spikes or something
like that.

Sounds like a place to steer clear of anyway.

Sorry if I was gruff, but that hitler's-a-jew crap is one of the things up
there with rape & child molestation that peeves me considerably. Mainly it
gets me peevish because the more virulent antisemites SHOULD seem to
retarded to ANYone thinking human being that none of their ideas can take
hold. Yet the craziest fabrications get repeated by people who should
never be that foolish, yet who fail even to question what should at first
blush be obvious folklore. Must be related to that same old theory that if
someone's going to lie to the public, make it as wildly improbable &
unconvincing a lie as possible, & that way the masses will think surely it
must be true. Makes me want to kick every parrot of such craziness.

Hi, I'm new to forums and just wanted to say I totally agree with whoever started this thread saying GardenWeb sucks. Too true. Spike the tyrant kicked me out because the title of one of my posts wasn't specific enough. The strange thing is that I see people breaking the rules, even Spike does from time to time, but none of them ever get in trouble. I guess it just depends on his mood.

And in addition to that, my ability to post was blocked after only 2 warnings. I kept getting redirected to a stupid Disney page. I politely informed Spike of this only about half a dozen times. He never really listened and kind of ignored me. I sent him a slightly harsher message and my member page was gone. I was so angry; I spent lots of time on that! I sent him a rude message. And my membership is gone. I tried registering under a different E-mail address using the username "Sephiroth". I still couldn't post; stupid Disney page again! then that account was deleted. Argh! What's Spike's problem anyways?! Actually, you know what, I don't want to be member of GardenWeb. Too strict. You get banned for doing things right. It better not be that bad here. Down with Spike the tyrant!

LOL! Got to watch the Ogre at that gate. I got kicked off without
warning for what I thought was a meaningless, if maybe a bit stupid
post. I remember thinking, "you gotta be kidding me. I'm Banned?!!?
FOR THAT??"

Anyway, I just used a different email account and got in just fine. I
suggest you clear you cookies (that dont sound right -- Gardenweb
would ban me for that), and your browser history files first. They
probably cached your account locally and you'll need to delete
yourself from your machine.

There's a lot of good stuff on Gardenweb, but you can get to it
without being a member, so its not a requirement. Considering some of
the stuff that goes on around here, I can see how some people would
like it nice and quiet, and like protection from the trolls. Still,
Spike seems to be a bit thin skinned for my tastes. I dont uderstand
the "no warning at all" type bans. Not even a notice to clear up your
act.
