It all depends on what you are calling an "ice plant".

The plant illustrated is Delosperma nubigenum but a completely different
cultivar is described in the text. Go figure. There are several different Delosperma being grown at DBG that were collected unnnamed in the wild and probably all represent validly named species but have gotten into the trade under cultivar names. Yes. They are green and some are already in bloom (Delosperma Nubigenum). The Delosperma Cooperii (dark pink) and the Delosperma "Kelaidis" PPAF Mesa Verde (salmon) are greening up but have not as yet bloomed here in Denver (zone 5). sed5555 |

It did "ok" in the pot, but I took a cutting and stuck it in the ground about a year ago. Now I'm struggling to keep the monster from taking over!
