Yellow seedlings (not over-watered)...?

Howdy,

Other than over-watering, what are some reasons that seedlings (tomato
and pepper) might look a bit yellow?

Thanks for any tips,

Pepper and tomato seedlings will turn yellow once they have used up the
nutrients readily available to them. After transplanting they will become
green again until they reach the same point. Add supplemental compost or
fertilizer to keep the plants green.

What medium are you using? Are you fertilizing them? Do you have
hard water in you ares? How much sun are they getting? Are you
growing a yellow-leaved tomato variety like 'Tigerette'?
