Default air layer birch trees?

Is it possible to air layer birch trees? How large of a branch can you use?
Is it too late to do it this year?

Thanks

Gary

Yes it's possible. Copy your question over to rec.arts.bonsai and you will
get some good replies. Yes, it's too late in the year.
