Try Kerry for giving aid and comfort to the enemy

Ratgurl twisting the facts again:

Nguyen Thi Binh (of SOUTH Vietnam)

She was at that time Foreign
Minister of South Vietnam,

To clarify ratgurl's misleading statement:

The Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam was a
Communist government formed by the National Liberation Front (NLF) in 1969 in
opposition to the anti-Communist U.S.-supported Republic of Vietnam. For most
of its existance it operated only as an exile government of sorts, and did not
present a challenge to the authority of the exisiting South Vietnamese
government. Backed by the North Vietnamese Communist government, it was
intended to assume power following the presumed victory of the Northern forces
after the end of the Vietnam War.

We know The Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South
Vietnam by another name, Viet Cong.

Please note that there is no opinion here, just the facts. Everyone should
read Kerry's testimony unless one needs to be spoon fed pablum by ratgurl.

Note: Opinion:

I don't believe that Roosevelt in 1919 or Wilson in 1918 or Negroponte in 2004
is germaine to a discussion about a traitor meeting with and giving aid and
comfort to the communist enemy in 1970. As you can tell, I'm not fonda kerry.
At least she had the grace to admit: (end of opinion, on to factual quote):

"I would like to say something, not just to Vietnam veterans in New England,
but to men who were in Vietnam, who I hurt, or whose pain I caused to deepen
because of things that I said or did, ... I was trying to help end the killing
and the war, but there were times when I was thoughtless and careless about it
and I'm . . . very sorry that I hurt them. And I want to apologize to them and
their families."

Note: Opinion:

Once again, ratgurl's personal attacks and name calling only demean herself. I
suppose if Kerry is elected he will invite Madame Binh to the Whitehouse to
accept the Presidential Medal of Freedom along with Annan and Chirac.

Signed,
Eagerly awaiting ratgurl's personal diatribes, propagandist constructs, half
truths and admiring paragraphs on the world's communists, socialists, perverts
and UN apologists.

By the way, I assume you realize that all this energy is wasted. If you
actually believe Vietnam was a threat to us, then you believe the existence
of a polar bear in the Arctic is a reason for the mayor of Miami to have his
office surrounded by armored vehicles 24x7.

IntarsiaCo 26-10-2004 12:58 PM

By the way, I assume you realize that all this energy is wasted.

Isn't that what real Americans do, waste energy, drive huge SUV's, abuse third
world countries and exert hegemonic control over the Muslim world?

But that's for another discussion, the topic is Kerry, treason, aid and comfort
to the communist enemy and his failure to explicitly apologize like Fonda did.

As Americans, it's our patriotic duty to improve this country in every way
possible. Why should Kerry apologize for doing what he felt was best at the
time?

IntarsiaCo 26-10-2004 02:46 PM

Why should Kerry apologize for doing what he felt was best at the
time?

Why did Hanoi Jane apologize for doing what she felt was best at the time?

Patriotic duty does not extend to giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Because she decided it was in her best interests to do so financially,
considering her movie career and future plans to be a leg-warmer model.

Kerry points out atrocities.
Nixon & Kissinger continue committing them.

Who's the asshole?

What movie career after she apologized in 1988, Old Gringo, that 1989
blockbuster movie?

I believe she has had one more after that, and perhaps another in production to
be released in 2005.

ROTFLMA

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Kerry didn't apologize, and he was still
elected to public office. Apparently, there are lots of voters who are able
to think for themselves, rather than being sock puppets for bozos like Rush
Limbaugh.

Don't listen to the big man, but do watch C-Span and listen to NPR, is that OK
with you? But then again, I don't have a lifelong subscription to The Guardian
nor do I believe in Leninism (don't confuse that with Lennonism) and men from
mars.

Apparently, when confronted with facts, not fictions, only disparaging
accusations become appropriate, lame, very lame.

Ahhh....the old "socialism" kneejerk reaction. Right out of the play book!

Now there's a good source of unbiased news. Not. National Review is a
magazine and book publisher focusing on international and political news and
opinion from a conservative viewpoint.

Now there's a good source of unbiased news.

Did you read the article and check the references and citations? I believe
they include the old grey lady and the wash/po. And, what is wrong about a
conservative viewpoint, must a view only be liberal to be true? I know, they
only good sources are CBS, Michael Moore and Paul Begala, 100% truthful,
right?

Some people do for themselves, some expect the government to do for them cradle
to grave, which side do you tend to favor? Are you of the entitlement ilk?

Sorry. No left turns. We're discussing Kerry & Jane Fonda, not economic
theory. You injected Lenin into the conversation, even though it had
absolutely nothing to do with the subject. I called you on it, as was
appropriate, because as you ran out of breathing room, you pulled the old
"socialism" nonsense out of your hat.
