TLC for winter
Gardeners at the U.S. Botanic Garden are in the middle of prepping the
grounds of the 3-acre Bartholdi Park for the next growing season. They
are cleaning up and weeding garden beds, adding mulch and compost,
pruning and planting cold-hardy plants and flower bulbs that need the
cold to bloom.
