Default Clover in Grass

I would like to eliminate clover from my lawn. Granted, it's nice and green
when grass browns out during a drought, but it's so thick it messes up my
mulching mower with all of the moisture.

Any tips would be appreciated!

A selective liquid herbicide is your best bet for clover. Here's a link to
some Ortho products that will be available at your local garden store.
