Anyone tried the mower deck Wash Port?

Has anyone had any experiences with the wash port attatchment for the John
Deere (or other) mower decks? It is supposed to allow the attachement of a
water hose to the top of the deck in some way to help clean underneath the
deck. Sounds like a really good idea if it works. I always spend 15-20
minutes after each mowing scraping out underneath my mower deck with a
screwdriver.
