Removing Moss Question

Hello:

Due to shade, etc., I have a fair amount of really healthy moss growing on
parts of my asphalt driveway, and brick walk.

Have scraped some of it off, but it's a rough job.

Was wondering if I spray with a Clorox solution, would this kill the stuff ?
If so, what % to use ?

Also, if dead, will it be more easily removable, with, e.g., just a hose ?

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks,
Bob

Maybe a little easier. I would soak it a few times in a solution of
water mixed with Moss-Out. One it is dead you could use a power washer
or a really strong stream of water through one of those hoze nozzles.

After you have cleaned the area, you could keep sprinkling some Moss-Out
granules when ever you start to see a moss starting up again.

Make sure you use the Moss-Out that is for roofs and driveways. Many folks
don't realize that there are 2 types of Moss-Out, 1 with iron and 1 with
zinc. Your looking for the zinc which will not stain the drive. After the
moss has turned black, take a snow shovel or the like and scrape it off.

Good luck!

I would have a look at www.mosskillers.co.uk
There is a good range of products just for killing moss on hard surfaces and you can order online.
