42" vs 50" deck: can't decide
 

The mower I'm looking at has a 42" deck. The 50" is only $150 more.
Is there any reason not to go with the 50"?

Some folks complain that the extra blade (most 42" have 2 blades while
most 50" have three) make it more likely to get an even cut. I have a
friend who has this problem.

I stuck with the 42" because it fits on my trailer while the 50"
doesn't.

Do you have a lot of obstacles to mow around? A 42" deck will make that
easier. Also, it will be easier to store in a garage or shed.

If you have a lot of flat, open land, get the 50"
