Acorns
 

I plant large wildflower beds every year in my Connecticut yard.
Unfortunately I also have many nearby oak trees. I'll try and rake them all
up but I'm sure to miss some. Is there any kind of pre emergent or other wiz
bang reciepe I can use to prevent the acorns from sprouting?

Preen comes to mind.

Dunno if it works for acorns,but it works real well
for lots of weed prevention.
