Default robomow! - Friendly Robotics Robomower

I just purchased the Friendly Robotics Robomower RL500 ($499) and I

must say that I'm very impressed! I have my yard divided into 4 zones

(BIG yard). Zone A being 2600 sqft, Zone B 600sqft, Zone C 2600sqft

and Zone D about 2500sqft. I've really been impressed so far but I've

only got around to cutting 2 zones..in which are the most difficult

ones in my opinion. I just set it up saturday and completely cut my

front yard on one charge (2 zones) and the batteries werent even low!

I had to turn off the sound because when the timer runs out it makes

this LOUD noise and I was mowing at 9PM so thats not nice to the

nieghbors! Other than that its REALLY quiet and once u disable the

sound, you can run it at night without it being a disturbance. I

should be able to test and cut the other two zones this week. I must

warn you, if you have a big yard you're gonna need more wire and more

stakes!! I'm thinking about getting the rapid 6hr charger so I wont

have to wait a LONG 24 hours before I can mow again.

Anyway for those who are curious about it, I'd say give it a try! It

has a 14 day try out period. So far its one of the best investments

I've made....now I can cut grass during the week at NIGHT thus freeing

up my saturdays to do the fun things in life!!! My only complaint is

the manual controller bascially sucks. It can be difficult to control

it precisely..but then again it doesnt seem to miss many spots at

all...so there wont be a great need to manually control it except to

drive it back to the garage.
