Default Naturvet Yard killer- wrong connections

Hi

I purchased some of this stuff

yard odour killer concentrate natural dogs

The site does say that the hose connections are not standard Uk, I have since discovered that the Amercians use GHT and we use BSP threads, so not only are they different sizes but the number of threads is different.

I am lookiing for something like this

3/4 in Threaded adaptor | Hozelock Services

but with the GHT thread instead of the BSP thead.

Hopefully others will have had previous experience of this.

Thanks

Just an update-

I did find a UK site selling some American aluminum pool filter cleaner- I guess that has the GHT female threads.

Fill Clean & Empty Cleaning for Hot Tubs | Spas | Pools

on the same page they sell a 3/4 bsp connector- I did email them a couple of hours ago and I was amazed to find that they have just replied (on a Sunday)- saying that it does indeed fit the American product.

I guess I will have to see if nylon Vs nylon threads works as well as their nylon vs aluminum.

in the end i rang naturaldogs and they sent me a free male thread to male quick fit connection and it works fine. They sent it for free which is fair enough

I now just leave the bayonet on the bottle and connect it to the hose. When I run out i will just order the top up bottle rather than the whole spray unit.

The product seems to be working quite well. It doesn't just cover the bad doggie smells with other smells- which is what I was after.

Just out of interest does any one know if these types of products will work with human urine smells? I have a few friends that live near pubs?!?!?!
