Default Will Tylan (an antibiotic) kill my christmas tree?

Hi all,

In an effort to keep my cat from drinking the water at the base of my
christmas tree, I sprinkled some Tylan (a VERY bitter-tasting
antibiotic) into the water. My cat HATES the tastes of Tylan. My
concern, however, is whether the Tylan will harm the tree.

Does anyone know?

Thanks,

Richard
