My nephew just bought a house with a large hilly yard. I advised him to buy
a quality tractor to last a while. He wants to buy a 17 horsepower Bolens
tractor from Leows. To me it looks like a junk. I have a Simplicity and his
father has a John Deere. This Bolens is close to $1000 dollars for a 17
horse and a 48 inch deck. Sounds like too much for too little to me. Anyone
know anything about the Bolens units of today. They were tough tractors in
the past. Looks like junk today.
