Default Governor Adjustment?

I have a Toro, 8HP rear engine riding mower with a Tecumseh engine. I
need information on adjusting the governor.

Default Governor Adjustment?

open throttle to full throttle (engine off) loosen gov. screw push throttle
linkage to open throttle to full open tighten screw start engine adj. high
rpm
(usually 3600rpm) tec engines usually have a very small screw with a spring
on it under the bracket bolted to the top of the carb. this adj. the tension
on the gov. spring to adj. the high speed rpm
