Peacock and weed and feed... Steveo ??

OK...my friend needs to kill chickweed but can't use "weed and feed" because
his Peacock will get it on his feet and eat it.

I'm not making this up !!

How can he kill his chickweed and not kill his Peacock ?

Since the obvious solution is to remove the bird from the treated area
the only other options are to either train the bird to eat chickweed, put
boots on the bird, or use a weed and feed that is water soluble and wait
until it's dry.

Use weed b gone (liquid) and don't allow the cock to enter the
target area for 12 to 24 hours. (that sounds like a doc johnson label) :D

The obvious choice is to use a liquid weed control in the area for good
results. Another option to try is boiling water. This will kill all
vegetation and you will have to reseed the areas. But it is an alternative
to chemicals.

The difficulty in doing this is keeping the water hot enough until you get
to the application surface. Give it a try. Good luck
