BBC The One Show, Front Garden Stars
 

Hello Garden Banter,

I work for a TV production company called Real Life Media and we produce film inserts for the BBC flagship magazine programme ‘The One Show’.

We are producing a series of short gardening films called ‘Front Garden Stars’, where our presenter Christine Walkden forages across suburbia for the heavyweight champions of the front garden spectacle.
In each film Christine will explore our national relationship with a particular plant and its contribution to the British domestic landscape. And of course, quiz the proud owner for their tips and techniques.

We are currently in the initial stages of research, and are searching for a front garden with an impressive Ceanothus in.
Filming would likely take place around early May to ensure the plant looks its best! And it is vital that the Ceanothus is in the front garden.
