Default Dutch Bulbfield Holidays & Tours

Now Autumn is well and truly upon us, it's a good time to look forward to some springtime colour - and what better place to see it for yourself than Holland.

We can offer many holidays to the Dutch bulbfields. Most will take you to Keukenhof and some will include cruise options and visits to Amsterdam and also to Belgium.

Here is just a small sample of what we have to offer:

Dutch Bulfield Cruise £455 6th & 12th April 3 nights.
There could be no more relaxing way to enjoy the Dutch countryside in spring than to watch it slip by from the comfort of your own river cruise ship. Once again we will sail on the MV Prinses Juliana, a spacious and well-appointed river cruiser which has proved to be the ideal vessel for this highly popular tour. With its large, comfortable forward lounge, a well-stocked bar and a separate restaurant, the Prinses Juliana has a tasteful and relaxed ambience. There is also an attractive, partially-covered sun deck area and the friendly and attentive crew will cater for your every need. The cabins are relatively spacious with twin berths, shower and toilet, and all have large windows which offer excellent views.
As we cruise the rivers Rhine and Waal and the connecting network of canals, we will pass through attractive towns and historic cities such as Amsterdam, with its huge range of museums and galleries, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Utrecht and Dordrecht.
The most important thing about spring in Holland is, of course, flowers - and there will be flowers galore. We will visit the world famous gardens of Keukenhof, the bulb grower's magnificent display of all the different tulip, daffodil and hyacinth varieties where over 7 million bulbs are planted annually. The grand gardens of Het Loo Palace are now recognised as one of Europe's finest formal gardens, a late Dutch interpretation of the Italian-French garden dating from the first quarter of the seventeenth century.

Dutch Bulbfields & Amsterdam £299 29th March, 5th & 6th April 4 days
Day 1 – Local departure by coach then to Holland for a three or four-night stay.

Day 2 – Keukenhof Park Included visit to Keukenhof Park (entry included) to see the impressive blooms. Famed for its breathtaking horticultural displays every year, Keukenhof’s blooms form a sea of springtime flowers. The exuberant colours of spring blend beautifully in a landscape of established trees, flowering shrubs, a huge variety of perennials, water gardens, fountains and a large lake. For 2013, the theme at Keukenhof is the U.K.

Day 3 – Amsterdam Canal Cruise and Diamond Factory. Join our included visit to Amsterdam with its many wonderful museums including the Rembrandt House museum. Admire the 17th century merchant houses and the floating flower market, or simply relax in a canalside café during your visit to this romantic and beautiful city. To view the city from a different angle join our leisurely optional canal cruise which also includes a tour of a diamond factory.
