Would wheat berries from whole foods suffice?
Works great for making wheat grass for pets.

Chicken scratch is about half wheat and half cracked corn. I have wheat
sprouting all over my yard from what I've given to my chickens. Don't
know how much you're looking for, but chicken scratch can be readily
found in 25 and 50 lb sacks. Also don't know what you'd do with the
cracked corn......just a thought.

Thanks for the thought! I hadn't considered that, and I throw scratch
nearly every day I suspect it's soft white wheat in the scratch, but
I may take a more careful look this evening.
