Old Country Stores & Interesting Places in NC & VA
 

I am doing research on old fashioned country stores in NC and VA . If
anyone knows of such a special store drop me a line and share it with
me, I would like to investigate these stores and meet some of the
People. Also if you know af any type of unusual sites in the NC & VA
area of any interest please drop me a line also. All Help would be
greatly Appreciated

There used to be a large general store in Carpenter, NC at Cary's west
edge near Highway 55.
Not sure if it is still there, or not, but worth checking out.
(Carpenter is unincorporated)
