Default Daffodil transplant

When is the best time to transplant daffodils? I would like to be able to
do it now when I can see where my other bulbs and plants are.

Default Daffodil Transplants

While the very best time is probably after they go dormant, a horticulturalist told me you can move them after they are done blooming and while the foliage is still green, taking care not to damage the roots. I would feel safer waiting until the foliage turns brown, personally, but I am a bit of a weenie.
