They're back. Here is my latest idea. Let me know what you think.
I am going to put some Hops (we owned a homebrew store so we have
lots) in a zip bag with a few fairly small holes in it. The thought
is the aroma will get out but little water will get in. Plus I will be
able to tell when it is gone and can switch up the hops. Opinions?

If anyone is still reading this group, the hops worked for one night.
We installed an electric fence today. This better work !!!!

A fence will work. It doesn't have to be electric. My
garden is
surrounded by a conventional wire fence. Bambi visits
every night
but does not bother the garden.

Suggestion: Anyone erecting a deer-exclusion fence should
tie strips
of white fabric to the fence wire. This helps the deer see
the fence.

It was no joke, desperation perhaps. The fence works great. We never
concidered it because we thought it would be to expensive but we put
ir up for less than $40.00.

Lowes. 1 inch PVC pipe, zapper $22.00 and the wire. I am also using
the PVC for tomato stakes so it doesn't even look odd. We didn't buy a
"tester" so the tester was me but you might want to get one. I don't
remember the price. You can find the stuff in the garden center way in
the back. Took us forever to find it. It sure is nice being Hoof
Free !!!!
