Artichokes
I planted some artichokes in a container garden last spring. The
directions said they wouldn't bear until the second year. They put out lush foliage, but, as expected, no artichokes. The recent cold spell has killed the foliage. Will it come back from the roots in the spring, or is this just too cold a climate for artichokes? |

But you really need zone 8. I see where they are only grown in California commercially, so even Florida must have some problem with them - it may be too hot. Let us know later this year. |
