Default white grubs

I have those also and I think they are Japanese beetles. I have always
heard you should put milky spore out in the Fall, but I bought some last
year from Barnes Supply and used it in the Spring and it definitely worked.
The directions on their bag said you should use it every season for two
years to completely eradicate the beetles. I am going to drop by Barnes and
get another bag; mine also look really healthy and I hate those things!

For the first time this fall, it seems that many places I dig in my flower
gardens, I have found white grubs. They look quite fat and healthy.

Last Spring, I put out milky spore. Does anyone know if it is too soon to
expect the milky spore to work? Or if it is more likely I have something

other
than Japanese beetle grubs?
