Daylilies
The bloom has been spectacular this year, hasn't it? Even the highway
medians are crammed with blossoms. I hope it is not wrong for me to tout a friend's business: Holly Hill Day Lily Farm. If so, please forgive me and read no further. But I cannot resist encouraging Triangle gardeners to get to Holly Hill before the season is finished. The mere sight of the field of blossoms at Holly Hill is worth trip. And, of course, the plants are a real bargain due to the great growing season. Details at www.hollyhilldaylilies.com There are a few more open house weekends: Saturday and Sunday, June 28 & 29 Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 4, 5, 6 Saturday and Sunday, July 12 & 13 Late bloomer weekend July 26 & 27 Open 7:30-5:30 Rain or Shine on the above days only! Daylilies
Donna, there are many great gardens throughout the Triangle. If somewhat
does not tout them, then many of us will miss enjoying these gems. The daylilies are spectacular this year and everyone should get out and see the wonderful daylily gardens in our area.
