Default mosquito dunks-local home improv. shops

Hi all,

My apologies for the semi-duplicate post to my earlier question on
rec.gardens, however I'm now on the search for local info.....

Has anyone seen mosquito dunks at a local Lowes or Home Depot? I
checked the stores in N. Raleigh (the Lowes off Lynn and the HD on
Strickland) and did not see the product in the lawn pest isle. I found
them at a local specialty nursery, however they were way over priced.

Has anyone seen them around here?

Thanks!
Heidi

Lowes on Capital Blvd had them (that's not a guarantee they're
there now). Also, try an Ace Hardware store.

Heidi,

Home Depot's website
http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS...?CNTTYPE=PROD_
META&CNTKEY=misc%2fsearchResults.jsp&BV_SessionID= @
& MID=9876&frmSearchStr=mosq
uito%20ring sells them at $8.97 for a package of 6 (I think, looking at the
illustration), so you should be able to find them at the store.

If the mosquito dunks aren't in the pesticide/repellant section, try the
water garden section (since they work in water).
