Default algae fertilizer

Good morning all.
I have about 100lbs of "Norwegian Ascopphyllum Algae" that
someone gave me. After googling, I see that it is predominantly
used for crops. Does anyone know how I could use it for my
gardens or natural areas?
Thanks,
Jeny
