Plant Sale This Weekend
 

The big plant sale is at the State Fairgrounds this weekend, Friday through
Sunday. Perennials, azaleas, camelias, hanging baskets, geraniums, and more.
Azaelas sold by the Gardeners of Wake County, perennials by the Raleigh Garden
Club, camelias by the 4-H Youth, and geraniums and baskets by the Pilot Club.

Opens at 8 am on Friday and Saturday. Noon on Sunday.

Proceeds go to educational scholarships and community projects of the various
groups.

Plant Sale This Weekend
 

I went to the plant sale about 11:00 this morning -- and it was SO hard to
restrain myself, because there are about a gazillion wonderful plants there!
(The restraint is self-imposed, because I'm responsible for digging the
holes to plant the azaleas I bought.)

Hmm.... My hubby promised to plant tomorrow the plants I bought today --
which means that *I* am free to go get more plants, yea!

For azaleas, $9 for a 3 gal. and $3.25 for a 1 gal -- a bargain, not to
mention money well spent, IMHO.
