Default bene nematodes vs. milky spore

Does anyone have any comments, suggestions or experience using
beneficial nematodes versus milky spore. Are both safe for earth
worms? Is one less dependent on the time of year it is applied to be
affective? I am seeing a number of grubs near the surface of my natural
area, and in my impatience to kill the grubs, I would like to put
something down now. However, I don't want to harm the good earth worms,
and other friendly organisms.

Can you buy beneficial nematodes in the area, or is it only available on
line?
TIA!
Heidi
