Default Where to find Persian Shield (Strobianthus)

Folks......a neighbor of mine in Carrboro has been looking for a source of
Strobilanthus (aka Persian Shield) without success. Do any of y'all know of
a nursery that has this plant; or suggestions of where to check for it.
Thanks.....Ron

Fairview Garden Center and Worthington Nursery are two places that
definitely have it. Worthington is probably cheaper than Fairview.
Worthington is on the corner of Tryon and Campbell Rd. in Cary. If you come
down Walnut Street past BJ's and Home Depot, the next intersection is Tryon
Rd., go left and cross over Jones Franklin. Immediately on your right is
Campbell Rd.. You'll see Worthington Nursery on the right side. Another
nursery that probably carries it is Logan Trading Company. Again, you'll
pay a hefty price for it. Overall, Worthington Nursery (used to be Campbell
Rd. Nursery) is the better priced nursery. Quarts are only 2.75 and if you
buy a whole flat (15 plants), you get 20% off. You'll easily pay 4.99
anywhere else with a minimal discount.

Penny.......great information. I'll pass it along to my neighbor in AM.
She'll be glad to obtain the plant(s)...and I'll probably get a
cutting/plant from her. Thanks for your generous help.
