my radishes are not doing well

I should have eaten them by now and planted another crop. They were
supposed to be mature in ~25 days, but it has been almost 5 weeks and all
but one radish are stunted. That one radish is growing well, but it's the
only one. This is my first time growing radishes, any ideas?

Give up.

Radishes are the easiest thing in the world to grow. If you cannot grow
radishes, you cannot grow anything.
Head for the produce stand.

ps, my 2 year old neice grew a great crop of radishes this year and we had to
give most of them away cuz there were too many

Since radishes are one of the easiest crops to grow, I would guess the
seeds are bad. How long have you had the seeds? I try to get new seeds
every year. Seeds that I have kept from previous seasons don't seem to
germinate as well.

I would say seeds as well. Several years ago I had two seperate batches and
one did fantastic and the other was pathetic.

The seeds are new. I have pulled one radish, might get a few more, but
overall they appear to be duds. My carrots are also doing poorly. I added
manure compost to the soil prior to planting, afterwards I read that
carrots should not be fertilized with manure. I wonder if the manure is
having a negative effect on the carrots and radishes.

The beans, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers & squash are doing fantastic.
