Wanted: Yard Service Recommendation?

Apologies if this isn't in the right spot, but this is the closest group I
could find, topic-wise.

I just moved into a new home with a yard that hasn't been mown or
otherwise maintained in weeks. Does anyone have a recommendation of a
good, quick and/or cheap lawn service that'd come give me a one-time
once-over on the yard to get it seaworthy, while I plan what to do with it
myself?

Email or in-group replies welcome. Thanks!

Michael

This is a good place to get recommendations, but it would help if you said
where in the triangle you're located. It's unlikely that recommendations
for N. Raleigh would work in Hillsborough and vice versa.

Dang, and here I thought everyone else was psychic! (Thanks - that's a
good point.)

I'm in Durham, near RTP/Morrisville. So - recommendations?

I'm not sure where you live but I use a guy in Raleigh who charges $26
to cut, weed eat, edge and blow my yard (~ 1/4 acre). His name is
Terry, number is 556-8688. He's very dependable and does a great job.
