Hmm. After checking around, while the flowers are similiar in shape and coloration, the blooming habit is completely different. B. flammuliferum blooms from a multi-flowered inflorescence. My unidentified bulbophyllum blooms from a very reduced 2-3 flowered inflorescence held against the rhizome. -Eric in SF www.orchidphotos.org |
