Default Echidna in Garden

Echidna in Garden
A prickly visitor by the orchid house. Are orchid friendly in that they
decimate the ant colonies which farm scale on plants (inc orchids) where
allowed.

Cool Peter (ok, pretty warm actually). I saw three echidnas today, stayed
with one for 20 minutes as it trundled through the undergrowth looking for
juicy crawly things. Haven't had them in my gerden though.

Thanks Peter. Bushfires aren't near Morwell. To have a looka t some cool
satellite images, go to the following web site:
http://esands.com/
Click on "Bushfire images available online" and follow the images.

For the foreigners, Melbourne is around the bay south-west of the fires,
about 150-200km from the fires in tyhe high country that started late last
week from lightning strikes. Morwell is due south of the fires about 100km
away.

Looking at those images you can see its been smokey around Melbourne for 3
days now, looks a bit like mist but all day long.
