Default Finally, some fringe lillies. Thysanosis juncifolius

However, the plant of the trip was this eucalyptus. Indigenous to Western
Australia. This was growing in the car park of the Great Western Winery.
Blooms are 3 to 4 inches across. Yes I've taken my liberties in posting this
but am sure it will be of interest to some of you.

Well, technically off topic but it was easy to see gray-green orchids
with red lips in that first picture. ;-)

Yikes! Just when I think I've seen the best you can post, you come up with
this! I love it. And I'm glad you sent along the eucalyptus, too. Dummy here
didn't realize that they flower!

Diana, here's another couple we saw on that trip. Not sure which Eucalypts
they are, but they were flowering profusely. If you look carefully you can
see the bees - there were hundreds visiting them. Peter, any idea of
species?

The blooms are small enough, Diana (an inch or so across). Not imposing at
first. Striking when we take the time to have a close look.
