Bulbophyllum WIlbur Chang
This is a first bloom for me - it's echniolabium x carunculatum, and
pretty much what I'd hoped for: a yellow echinoolabium, albeit a bit smaller. Haven't detected a fragrance yet. |

Nice looking bloom! What's that turn of phrase about having one's legs crossed?

Did you get that from H&R? Sunset Valley Orchids says they have a few
they've treated with colchicine. K Barrett "tennis maynard" wrote in message ... This is a first bloom for me - it's echniolabium x carunculatum, and pretty much what I'd hoped for: a yellow echinoolabium, albeit a bit smaller. Haven't detected a fragrance yet. |

It will be interesting to see if any of those treated plants are distinctly different. I wonder if there are 4n plants, will the flowers be bigger? Redder? Or what? |

From what I understand it doesn't always work. They are in flask anyway. You got blooms!! K |
