Ancgm eburneum superbum X self

This is a first bloom. It aborted one last year. They are large. This is a
10" clay pot. The bottom third has pot shards, then 1/3 styrofoam, topped by
pumice. The plant seems to like it. The one in the background is
sesquipedale.

Lovely. Aside from your medium, anything special you do with this one? I
have a huge one that has bloomed once for me and is well overdue for another
bloom. I must say the bloom I did get was spectacular - three spikes and
untold numbers of flowers that lasted a long time.

It's under vandas and that sort of thing so it gets considerable fertilizer
drippings. Otherwise I can't think of anything else. They do get big,
though, don't they?

Humongous! I grow mine with the Vandas as well, so I guess I'll just have to
wait until it feels its oats again.
