This is a first for me. I have previously killed two of these plants
bought different years at Redlands, dessicated with few if any roots at
time of purchase. I hoped against hope that the near-dead plants would
survive. This plant was purchased last year as a division which had been
growing in semi-hydro for a while (and still is). It had two green
sheaths on it and I watched eagerly as they slowly browned and dried up,
while the plant sent up numerous new growths. This winter/spring I have
anxiously followed its progress, from the appearance of new sheaths. Now
I have eight flowers on four inflorescences (1-2-2-3) which wouldn't
have happened without the GH.

I'll post a close-up next.
