Fragrance 2: Trichopilia marginata 'pink'
This is a long-lasting marginata. It's been open for almost two weeks
now. But nonetheless, it, as the others in bloom now, will of course fade prior to our meeting next Thursday. It's so hard to recruit new trichopilia addicts when the flowers don't make it to the meetings!! Also fragrant, this appeals to me for its delicate coloration; 'Dark Beauty' a few feet away on the trichopilia shelf, is preparing to open it's much darker, more dramatic flower - just bloomed last month, too! - these two which often bloom together make a very appealing contrast. |
