Terrarium - Vanilla Orchid?

Would a vanilla orchid thrive in a terrarium?

No. Vanillas --like most orchids-- require good ventilation and
drainage.

In addition, they need plenty of light and get to be large, sprawly,
vining plants.

Orchids in general are poor choices for terraria.
