Indoor Gardening Society of America and Midwest Cactus Society Plant Sale


The Spring Plant - Bake Sale and WHITE ELEPHANT SALE
will be co-sponsored by Indoor Gardening Society of America - Cleveland
Chapter and the Midwest Cactus and Succulent Society. It will be held
at the temporary headquarters of the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, 3142
Prospect Ave, Cleveland, OH (on the south side of Prospect at 31st
Street) on Sunday March 23, 2003 from 11:30 am - 4 pm.

There is ample free parking in parking lot across the street.

The sale will feature local and out-of-town vendors from the Midwest
Cactus and Succulent Society (for profit - Bob Smoley's Garden World
near Pittsburgh and Mike Massara's Out of Africa near Columbus, and
Bill Hendricks of Klyn Nursery, Perry, Ohio).

This sale is the main fund raiser for IGSA, Cleveland Chapter which
supports civic projects in indoor gardening through
hortitherapy programs, light cart loans to nursing, psychiatric and
other facilities; scholarships for horticultural related education and
Cleveland area civic gardens.

Our plants come from donations propagated and grown by individual
members as well as registered growers. These plants
are unusual exotics, tropical, and specimen plants, not often found in
Northeast Ohio. Sometimes we have outdoor perennials and herbs.
