Don't you think that the next to the last picture shows evidence that
they dug up a plant? If they didn't dig it up, they pretty thoroughly
molested it!

Good eyes, Gentlemen. I confess that I didn't pay as much attention to that
picture when I first went to the site. Having gone back for a second look, I
agree.

The other thing is: the person who sent me the link in the first place now
thinks it's a Phrag. I grow very few Paphs and no Phrags, so I won't try to
comment. What do you think?

I thought the pouchers of the americas were phrags and cyprediums.

Oh, it's a Phrag all right. I didn't even notice that you had written
Paph until now. The name kovachii is so infamous at this point that it
only takes a glance at that name to know what plant we are talking about.
