Peculiar problem!!

hi all.. i have sorta peculiar problem. I had bought a couple of bare
root phals on ebay. The package was delivered when i was out of town.
My very friendly neighbor decided to keep the plants in the
refrigerator since the box said "protect from heat and cold". She kept
the entire box in the refrigerator without taking the plants out. Thus
they were in the refrigerator for atleast 2 days.

My question is: can i save the plants? I have not yet potted them, but
at a glance the plants look fine.

Thanks

Raj

As long as they did not freeze, there's a chance they'll survive, but be
very wary of rots.

My order was dumped a mile down the road, and was outdoors for 2 months in the British winter. It was found under the snow and repatriated to me. The orchids were wrapped in newspaper, then shipped in a cardboard box. Everything was sodden and some of the cattleyas were already rotting. The rest died eventually. The only phalaenopsis in the order not only survived, but simply carried on as though nothing was amiss!

Take heart, Raj, and just pot them up.
