Default Maxillaria callichroma- flat psuedobulbs

I won this Maxillaria callichroma at a OS raffle. A large plant, but it had
just been repotted on Bark and perlite. Not very pretty plant. The
psuedobulbs are hard and totally wrinkled-Flat. The leaves are green but
fold over- I'm wondering if there is any life in this plant. checked roots,
trimmed and seem in ok shape. I read these like to be kept moist & is
getting 4 hrs of sun a day. What do you think? wish I could check for a
pulse

Diane
