Wrinkled Stems on Blc. Wanda's Fire

Just won a Brassolaeliocattleya and I noticed the stems are wrinkled. Is
this because of lack of water? It was in need of repotting, so I did.

Any ideas or will the repotting do the trick? It was in bad need of a repot.

Thanks, Chuck.

How were the roots when you repotted? What kind of media was it in?

Wrinkled Stems on Blc. Wanda's Fire

Most of the roots were aboveground. Some were in the potting mix, but not
many. It was potted in mostly large bark and polystyrene popcorn. Looks like
it came that way from the vendor. I visited the Fraser Valley Orchid Society
and was lucky enough to win this orchid or not. I think it was given for the
draw because the person who had it didn't want to repot.

Thanks again, Chuck.
